CNC Precision Turned Parts to Drawing

Contract CNC turning to your drawing: precision turned parts from ⌀1–20 mm bar — series, small batch and one-offs. Six axes in a single setup on a Goodway SW-20.

Service Details

We produce CNC precision turned parts to your drawing: parts from ⌀1–20 mm bar stock in series, small batches or as one-offs. Machining runs on a Goodway SW-20 CNC Swiss-type lathe. In a sliding-head layout the bar is machined immediately in front of the guide bushing, so the cutting point stays very close to the point of support and deflection and vibration drop sharply on long, slender parts. Delicate work that struggles on a conventional lathe is exactly what this machine is built for.

The machine runs six axes in total: four simultaneous axes on the main headstock (X, Y, Z, C) and three on the sub-spindle (XB, ZB, C). The main spindle turns from 2 to 10,000 rpm. The Y axis and the driven-tool unit let turning, cross drilling, milling and tapping finish in a single setup, so the part never moves to a second machine and no re-clamping misalignment is introduced.

Parts up to 207 mm long can be machined in one chucking. The sub-spindle takes the part over at up to ⌀20 mm and performs the back-end operations, so parts machined on both ends complete in a single cycle.

The tool post carries six stationary tools and four sleeve positions alongside driven-tool stations. Stationary tools drill to ⌀10 mm, tap to M8×1.25 and mill to ⌀10 mm; driven tools drill to ⌀8 mm and tap to M6×1.0. On the sub-spindle, drilling to ⌀8 mm and tapping to M8×1.25 are supported.

We machine steel, stainless steel, brass and aluminium. Class h6/H7 is standard on fit surfaces; on critical diameters we aim for ±0.01 mm and can supply a measurement report on request.

We regularly produce membrane press pins and magnetic pin bodies on this machine, along with shafts, bushings, spacers and fasteners. Send your technical drawing (PDF/DWG/STEP) or a sample; we will assess machinability and prepare a quote based on dimensions, tolerance and quantity. Contract machining and Swiss screw machining for machine building, hydraulics and pneumatics, automotive supply, magnetic systems and medical technology.
