Valve Parts Manufacturing — CNC Swiss Lathe Turning

Valve spools, poppets, needle tips, orifices and more: 135 valve part types across 14 families. ⌀1–20 mm CNC Swiss turning, ±0.01 mm precision. Send a drawing for a quote.

Manufacturing Scope

Valve parts are precision-turned elements that direct, shut off or throttle flow in hydraulic and pneumatic circuits, used across automation, fluid control, automotive, medical and general machine building. This category spans 14 families and 135 distinct part types: valve spool pistons, poppet valve elements, needle valve tips, push pins, valve spring pins, ball check-valve stems, threaded valve stems, valve sockets (threaded), valve seats (conical sealing), orifices (calibrated bores), throttle nozzles, transition bushings, cartridge valve bodies and seat inserts. We machine steel, stainless steel, brass and aluminium. Sealing and mating surfaces are held to tight tolerances such as h6/H7 fits and ±0.01 mm. Production runs on a Goodway SW-20 Swiss-type lathe across the ⌀1–20 mm diameter range in a single operation, integrating conical seats, knurling, bores and thread details in one setup. Beyond the 135 catalogued types, we produce custom sizes from your technical drawing or sample. Pricing is quote-based: send the drawing and we return price and lead time by quantity and material.

Length is what varies most here: from 3 mm up to 102 mm at VALA-SPL-20, a span of 99 mm inside one category — and all of it inside the machine's 207 mm single-setup limit. Across 135 variants the work is 30× thread turning, 24× hex flat milling, 66× axial bore, 62× taper turning, 22× knurling.

Tolerances span 8 classes (6g, H6, H7, h6, h7, h8, h9, n6) and 127 variants carry a DIN or ISO reference. The highest length-to-diameter ratio in the category belongs to VALA-SPL-04 at L/D 7 — slender enough to need tailstock support on a conventional lathe.

Every part is CNC-turned to your drawing — series, small batches and custom turned parts. Send your drawing (PDF/DWG/STEP) for a quote.

Parts are turned from bar stock on a Goodway SW-20 CNC Swiss lathe in a single operation. The sliding-headstock design reduces deflection on slender, long geometries, keeping tolerance stable along the length; conical seats, calibrated bores, knurling and threads are machined in the same setup. Sealing faces receive additional surface finishing when required.
