Manufacturing Scope

Custom turned parts is the umbrella term for turned components that fall outside standard machine-part ranges — typically pieces that are handled, gripped, or sit on a visible surface. This category holds 14 families and a total of 147 types: knurled knobs, wing screws, knurled thumb screws, adjusting lever hubs, detent pins, star grip nuts, hex hand nuts, plain ferrules, knurled rings, tapered transition hubs, end caps, threaded decorative finials, hex decorative ferrules and stepped decorative bezels. These parts are used across machine building, furniture and fixturing, medical devices, electrical-electronic and automation assembly lines. We machine them in steel, stainless steel, brass and aluminum, working to fit classes such as h6/H7 and ±0.01 mm precision where the application requires it. Production runs on the Goodway SW-20 Swiss-type lathe within a ⌀6–20 mm range (the SW-20 ceiling is ⌀20 mm). These are short, stout parts: 8–46 mm long, with no variant exceeding L/D 2.7. Rigidity is not the constraint here, repeatability is — 147 variants, machined in one setup, requiring 31× thread turning, 21× hex flat milling, 106× axial bore, 20× taper turning, 93× knurling.

Everything here is held to 7 tolerance classes (6H, 6g, h10, h11, h7, h8, h9), and 83% of the variants map to a DIN or ISO standard.
