Opto-Mechanical Parts Manufacturing — Lens Holders, Lens Barrels, Aperture Rings
Lens holders, tube adapters, aperture rings, lens barrels and pinholes — 151 opto-mechanical part types. ⌀2–20 mm CNC Swiss turning, ±0.01 mm, prices on request.
Manufacturing Scope
Opto-mechanical parts are precision-turned elements that position, align and secure lenses, mirrors, apertures and detectors along the optical axis. They are used in camera and machine-vision modules, laser optics, microscope and endoscope tubes, and metrology and spectroscopy instruments. This category covers 14 families and 151 types: lens holder rings, tube adapters, aperture rings, lens barrels, adjustment rings, hexagonal mounting rings, spacer rings, pinhole apertures, optical shafts, micro-adjustment screws, mounting pins, distance rings and optical posts. They are machined from steel, stainless steel, brass and aluminum, with finishes such as polishing or black anodizing applied on request. We turn them on the Goodway SW-20 Swiss-type lathe across a ⌀2–20 mm bar range, targeting h6 on outer diameters, H7 on bores and ±0.01 mm on length and spacing. Beyond the 151 catalog types, we produce custom parts from your technical drawing or sample. Share a drawing or dimensioned sketch and we'll start a quote based on material and quantity.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which materials are opto-mechanical parts made from?
As standard we machine steel, stainless steel (304/316), brass and aluminum. Aluminum is common for lightweight mounts, stainless for corrosion resistance and cleanability, and brass for low reflectivity and dimensional stability. Finishes such as polishing, black anodizing or chemical blackening can be applied on request.
What tolerances and precision do you work to?
On the Goodway SW-20 Swiss lathe we typically target h6 on outer diameters, H7 on fit bores and ±0.01 mm on critical lengths and spacings. On optical seating faces of lens barrels and aperture rings, concentricity and squareness are inspected to the tolerance on your drawing.
Do you make custom lens holders or adapters not in your catalog?
Yes. Beyond the 151 catalog types, we manufacture custom opto-mechanical parts from your technical drawing, dimensioned sketch or an existing sample. Thread, diameter, aperture opening and mounting holes are machined to your specification.
Is there a minimum order quantity — can I order a single piece?
We can run single pieces / low volumes for prototypes and samples; unit cost drops as quantity rises in series production. The exact minimum depends on part complexity and material — the quote includes a clear quantity–price breakdown.
How are price and lead time determined?
Pricing is quote-based; we don't publish fixed prices online because material, tolerance, finish and quantity all affect the price directly. After you share a drawing we usually reply within 24 hours and confirm the lead time by quantity together. We have manufactured in Düzce, Turkey since 2009 and ship domestically and for export.
