Electrodes & EDM Tips Manufacturing — CNC Swiss Lathe Machining
Spot, MIG, EDM and copper electrode tips CNC-turned at ⌀3–20 mm. 14 families, 133 types plus custom sizes. Send a drawing for a quote.
Manufacturing Scope
Electrodes and EDM tips are the wear parts that conduct electrical current to the workpiece in spot/resistance welding, MIG welding, stud welding and die-sinking EDM machines. They are used heavily in automotive, appliance, mold-making and general metalworking. This category holds 14 families and 133 part types: spot welding electrode tips, welding pins, MIG contact tips, electrode holder pins, copper-tip electrodes, stud welding electrodes, conical spot electrodes, stepped EDM electrode tips, drilled tubular electrodes, tapered small-hole electrode tips, threaded and hex-body electrodes, plus small-hole EDM guide bushings and contact bushings. We machine steel, stainless steel, brass and aluminium; copper and copper alloys are preferred for the electrode tip itself. Parts are turned on the Goodway SW-20 Swiss lathe within a ⌀3–20 mm range at h6/H7 fits and ±0.01 mm precision. Alongside the 133 catalogue types, we produce custom sizes to your technical drawing. Send a sample or drawing and we will quote by dimension and quantity.

Frequently Asked Questions
How are EDM electrode tips manufactured?
EDM electrode tips are turned in a single operation on the Goodway SW-20 Swiss lathe to the diameters, steps and tapers in your drawing. Copper or copper alloy is usually used; small-hole and stepped geometries are machined to ±0.01 mm. Surface finish and concentricity tolerances can be measured and reported on request.
Which materials do you use for electrodes and tips?
Steel, stainless steel, brass and aluminium are machined as standard. Because electrodes and EDM tips require conductivity, copper and copper alloys are the usual choice. We can select the material together based on the application (spot, MIG, stud, EDM) and the mating workpiece.
What tolerances and precision do you work to?
Standard fits are held to h6/H7 class and critical diameters to ±0.01 mm. Concentricity and squareness tolerances for tapered tips, small holes and steps are held to the drawing. Measurement results are provided with an inspection report on request.
Is there a minimum order quantity, and do you make custom sizes?
Beyond the 133 catalogue types, we manufacture custom electrode and EDM tips to your drawing or sample. Swiss-lathe production suits both prototype/sample quantities and series production; we state the best production plan for your quantity and size in the quote.
How do I get pricing and lead time?
Pricing is by quotation; no fixed figures appear on the site. Send the technical drawing, dimensions and quantity and we will share a size-specific quote and lead time. We have manufactured in Düzce, Turkey since 2009 and serve both domestic and export orders.
