Manufacturing Scope
Threaded-Shank Electrode is a Electrodes & EDM Tips family precision-turned on a Goodway SW-20, covering 9 variants — diameters ⌀6–16 mm, lengths 36–64 mm, standard material Brass (also steel, stainless steel or aluminium). Every variant's part code, dimension and tolerance is listed below; request a quote with the code you need.
The family is machined from ⌀16 mm bar stock; its longest variant is ELEB-THR-12 at 64 mm. Besides turning, the family requires thread turning (6 sizes from M4 to M12) and taper turning. All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.
The most slender variant is ELEB-THR-04: 36 mm long at ⌀6 mm, a length-to-diameter ratio of 6.0. A part this slender needs tailstock support on a conventional lathe. On a sliding-head lathe the guide bushing holds the bar right next to the cutting edge, so the part is machined without a centre.
Variants are machined to 6g tolerance; the smallest is ELEB-THR-04 (⌀6 mm) and the largest ELEB-THR-12 (⌀16 mm). The family includes threaded, tapered, multi-step variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
