Bored Micro Shaft is a Micro & Watch Parts family precision-turned on a Goodway SW-20, covering 10 variants — diameters ⌀2–6 mm, lengths 16–60 mm, standard material Aluminium (also steel, stainless, brass or aluminium). The family is machined from ⌀6 mm bar stock; its longest variant is MIKA-BOR-60L at 60 mm. Besides turning, the family requires axial drilling (⌀1–4 mm). All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.

The most slender variant is MIKA-BOR-60L: 60 mm long at ⌀6 mm, a length-to-diameter ratio of 10.0. This ratio is the very reason sliding-head lathes exist. The guide bushing supports the bar immediately beside the cutting point, so there is no deflection; the same part chatters and drifts in diameter on a conventional lathe.

Variants are machined to H7 tolerance; the smallest is MIKA-BOR-20 (⌀2 mm) and the largest MIKA-BOR-60L (⌀6 mm). The family includes bored variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
