The family is machined from ⌀20 mm bar stock; its longest variant is ARAB-BOR-20 at 18 mm. The family is produced by turning alone. Bores in this family run ⌀3.2–10.5 mm. All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.

The variant with the highest length-to-diameter ratio is ARAB-BOR-20: 18 mm long at ⌀20 mm, L/D 0.9. A short, rigid body: what governs the result here is not deflection but diameter tolerance and surface finish.
