Manufacturing Scope
Micro Pin is a Micro & Watch Parts family precision-turned on a Goodway SW-20, covering 10 variants — diameters ⌀0.8–6 mm, lengths 6–40 mm, standard material Steel (also steel, stainless, brass or aluminium). Every variant's part code, dimension and tolerance is listed below; request an instant quote with the code you need.
The family is machined from ⌀6 mm bar stock; its longest variant is MIKA-PIN-60 at 40 mm. The family is produced by turning alone. All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.
The most slender variant is MIKA-PIN-12: 10 mm long at ⌀1.2 mm, a length-to-diameter ratio of 8.3. A part this slender needs tailstock support on a conventional lathe. On a sliding-head lathe the guide bushing holds the bar right next to the cutting edge, so the part is machined without a centre.
Variants are machined to m6 tolerance; the smallest is MIKA-PIN-08 (⌀0.8 mm) and the largest MIKA-PIN-60 (⌀6 mm). Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
