Manufacturing Scope

Pivot Arbor is a Micro & Watch Parts family precision-turned on a Goodway SW-20, covering 10 variants — diameters ⌀1–5 mm, lengths 18–64 mm, standard material Steel (also steel, stainless, brass or aluminium). Every variant's part code, dimension and tolerance is listed below; request an instant quote with the code you need.

The family is machined from ⌀5 mm bar stock; its longest variant is MIKA-PVT-50 at 64 mm. Besides turning, the family requires taper turning. All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.

The most slender variant is MIKA-PVT-12: 22 mm long at ⌀1.2 mm, a length-to-diameter ratio of 18.3. This ratio is the very reason sliding-head lathes exist. The guide bushing supports the bar immediately beside the cutting point, so there is no deflection; the same part chatters and drifts in diameter on a conventional lathe.

Variants are machined to h5, h6 tolerance classes; the smallest is MIKA-PVT-10 (⌀1 mm) and the largest MIKA-PVT-50 (⌀5 mm). The family includes tapered, multi-step variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
