Rotary Pivot Pin is a Pins family precision-turned on a Goodway SW-20, covering 11 variants — diameters ⌀6–18 mm, lengths 19–50 mm, standard material Stainless Steel (also steel, stainless, brass or aluminium). The family is machined from ⌀18 mm bar stock; its longest variant is PIMB-RPV-10T at 50 mm. Besides turning, the family requires thread turning (M5, M6, M8) and axial drilling (⌀2–2.5 mm). All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.

The variant with the highest length-to-diameter ratio is PIMB-RPV-06T: 32 mm long at ⌀10 mm, L/D 3.2. This ratio is achievable on a conventional lathe as well; the sliding-head advantage in series work is that the part never leaves the machine, so the size does not drift from variant to variant.

Variants are machined to g6 tolerance; the smallest is PIMB-RPV-04 (⌀6 mm) and the largest PIMB-RPV-12 (⌀18 mm). The family includes threaded, bored, multi-step variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
