The standard material is listed below; also available in steel, stainless, brass and aluminium. Dimensions in mm; tolerances machined to ISO. Deviations (mm) are given for the nominal diameter according to the ISO 286-2 tables; thread tolerances (6g/6H) are to ISO 965. For custom sizes/tolerances, contact us with the part code.
Manufacturing Scope
Sensor Body is a Automotive Precision Parts family precision-turned on a Goodway SW-20, covering 10 variants — diameters ⌀15–20 mm, lengths 19–40 mm, standard material Stainless Steel (also steel, brass or aluminium). Every variant's part code, dimension and tolerance is listed below; request a quote with the code you need.
The family is machined from ⌀20 mm bar stock; its longest variant is OTOB-SNB-14 at 40 mm. Besides turning, the family requires thread turning (6 sizes from M10x1 to M18x1.5) and hex flat milling (AF 13–17). Bores in this family run ⌀4–11 mm. All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.
The variant with the highest length-to-diameter ratio is OTOB-SNB-14: 40 mm long at ⌀20 mm, L/D 2.0. A short, rigid body: what governs the result here is not deflection but diameter tolerance and surface finish.
Variants are machined to 6g tolerance; the smallest is OTOB-SNB-05 (⌀15 mm) and the largest OTOB-SNB-14 (⌀20 mm). The family includes threaded, hex-drive, bored, multi-step variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
