Adjusting Screw is a Automotive Precision Parts family precision-turned on a Goodway SW-20, covering 10 variants — diameters ⌀8.1–19.6 mm, lengths 16–37 mm, standard material Steel (also stainless steel, brass or aluminium). Every variant's part code, dimension and tolerance is listed below; request a quote with the code you need.
The family is machined from ⌀20 mm bar stock; its longest variant is OTOB-ADS-14 at 37 mm. Besides turning, the family requires thread turning (8 sizes from M4x0.5 to M12x1.5), hex flat milling (AF 7–17) and axial drilling (⌀4–6 mm). All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.
The variant with the highest length-to-diameter ratio is OTOB-ADS-08: 26 mm long at ⌀11.5 mm, L/D 2.3. A short, rigid body: what governs the result here is not deflection but diameter tolerance and surface finish.
Variants are machined to 6g tolerance; the smallest is OTOB-ADS-05 (⌀8.1 mm) and the largest OTOB-ADS-14 (⌀19.6 mm). The family includes threaded, hex-drive, bored, multi-step variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
