Valve Guide is a Automotive Precision Parts family precision-turned on a Goodway SW-20, covering 8 variants — diameters ⌀5–16 mm, lengths 24–60 mm, standard material Brass (also steel, stainless, brass or aluminium). The family is machined from ⌀16 mm bar stock; its longest variant is OTOA-VLK-16 at 60 mm. Besides turning, the family requires knurling and axial drilling (⌀3–9 mm). All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.

The variant with the highest length-to-diameter ratio is OTOA-VLK-06: 30 mm long at ⌀6 mm, L/D 5.0. This ratio is achievable on a conventional lathe as well; the sliding-head advantage in series work is that the part never leaves the machine, so the size does not drift from variant to variant.

Variants are machined to s6 tolerance; the smallest is OTOA-VLK-05 (⌀5 mm) and the largest OTOA-VLK-16 (⌀16 mm). The family includes knurled, bored, multi-step variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
