DIN 1 Taper Pin is a Pins family precision-turned on a Goodway SW-20, covering 10 variants — diameters ⌀4–20 mm, lengths 20–100 mm, standard material Steel (also steel, stainless, brass or aluminium). The family is machined from ⌀20 mm bar stock; its longest variant is PIMB-TPR-20 at 100 mm. Besides turning, the family requires taper turning. All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.

The variant with the highest length-to-diameter ratio is PIMB-TPR-04: 20 mm long at ⌀4 mm, L/D 5.0. This ratio is achievable on a conventional lathe as well; the sliding-head advantage in series work is that the part never leaves the machine, so the size does not drift from variant to variant.

Variants are machined to h10 tolerance; the smallest is PIMB-TPR-04 (⌀4 mm) and the largest PIMB-TPR-20 (⌀20 mm). The family includes tapered variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
