Knurled Drive Pin is a Pins family precision-turned on a Goodway SW-20, covering 10 variants — diameters ⌀3–12 mm, lengths 16–48 mm, standard material Brass (also steel, stainless, brass or aluminium). The family is machined from ⌀12 mm bar stock; its longest variant is PIMA-KDP-12 at 48 mm. Besides turning, the family requires knurling. All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.
The variant with the highest length-to-diameter ratio is PIMA-KDP-03: 16 mm long at ⌀3 mm, L/D 5.3. This ratio is achievable on a conventional lathe as well; the sliding-head advantage in series work is that the part never leaves the machine, so the size does not drift from variant to variant.
Variants are machined to n6 tolerance; the smallest is PIMA-KDP-03 (⌀3 mm) and the largest PIMA-KDP-08H (⌀12 mm). The family includes knurled, multi-step variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
