Abutment Screw is a Medical & Dental Parts family precision-turned on a Goodway SW-20, covering 10 variants — diameters ⌀2.8–8 mm, lengths 5.5–12 mm, standard material Stainless Steel (also steel, brass or aluminium). Every variant's part code, dimension and tolerance is listed below; request a quote with the code you need.
The family is machined from ⌀8 mm bar stock; its longest variant is MEDB-SCR-10 at 12 mm. Besides turning, the family requires thread turning (6 sizes from M1.6 to M4). All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.
The variant with the highest length-to-diameter ratio is MEDB-SCR-02: 6.5 mm long at ⌀3 mm, L/D 2.2. A short, rigid body: what governs the result here is not deflection but diameter tolerance and surface finish.
Variants are machined to 6g tolerance; the smallest is MEDB-SCR-01 (⌀2.8 mm) and the largest MEDB-SCR-10 (⌀8 mm). The family includes threaded, multi-step variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
