K-Wire Driver Pin is a Medical & Dental Parts family precision-turned on a Goodway SW-20, covering 10 variants — diameters ⌀1–4 mm, lengths 54–119 mm, standard material Stainless Steel (also steel, brass or aluminium). Every variant's part code, dimension and tolerance is listed below; request a quote with the code you need.
The family is machined from ⌀4 mm bar stock; its longest variant is MEDA-KWD-40 at 119 mm. Besides turning, the family requires taper turning and knurling. All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.
The most slender variant is MEDA-KWD-10: 54 mm long at ⌀1 mm, a length-to-diameter ratio of 54.0. This ratio is the very reason sliding-head lathes exist. The guide bushing supports the bar immediately beside the cutting point, so there is no deflection; the same part chatters and drifts in diameter on a conventional lathe.
Variants are machined to h7 tolerance; the smallest is MEDA-KWD-10 (⌀1 mm) and the largest MEDA-KWD-40 (⌀4 mm). The family includes tapered, knurled, multi-step variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
