Valve Spool Piston is a Valve Parts family precision-turned on a Goodway SW-20, covering 10 variants — diameters ⌀4–20 mm, lengths 28–102 mm, standard material Stainless Steel (also steel, brass or aluminium). Every variant's part code, dimension and tolerance is listed below; request a quote with the code you need.
The family is machined from ⌀20 mm bar stock; its longest variant is VALA-SPL-20 at 102 mm. The family is produced by turning alone. All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.
The most slender variant is VALA-SPL-04: 28 mm long at ⌀4 mm, a length-to-diameter ratio of 7.0. A part this slender needs tailstock support on a conventional lathe. On a sliding-head lathe the guide bushing holds the bar right next to the cutting edge, so the part is machined without a centre.
Variants are machined to h6 tolerance; the smallest is VALA-SPL-04 (⌀4 mm) and the largest VALA-SPL-20 (⌀20 mm). The family includes multi-step variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
