The family is machined from ⌀16 mm bar stock; its longest variant is TEKB-KAM-16B at 90 mm. Besides turning, the family requires thread turning (6 sizes from M4 to M12), knurling and axial drilling (⌀6 mm). All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.
The most slender variant is TEKB-KAM-06: 46 mm long at ⌀6 mm, a length-to-diameter ratio of 7.7. A part this slender needs tailstock support on a conventional lathe. On a sliding-head lathe the guide bushing holds the bar right next to the cutting edge, so the part is machined without a centre.
Variants are machined to 6g tolerance; the smallest is TEKB-KAM-05 (⌀5 mm) and the largest TEKB-KAM-16B (⌀16 mm). The family includes threaded, knurled, bored, multi-step variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
