Manufacturing Scope
Bobbin Spindle is a Textile Machine Parts family precision-turned on a Goodway SW-20, covering 10 variants — diameters ⌀4–12 mm, lengths 48–106 mm, standard material Steel (also stainless steel, brass or aluminium). Every variant's part code, dimension and tolerance is listed below; request a quote with the code you need.
The family is machined from ⌀12 mm bar stock; its longest variant is TEKA-BSP-12 at 106 mm. Besides turning, the family requires thread turning (M8, M12) and knurling. All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.
The most slender variant is TEKA-BSP-04: 48 mm long at ⌀4 mm, a length-to-diameter ratio of 12.0. This ratio is the very reason sliding-head lathes exist. The guide bushing supports the bar immediately beside the cutting point, so there is no deflection; the same part chatters and drifts in diameter on a conventional lathe.
Variants are machined to h6, 6g tolerance classes; the smallest is TEKA-BSP-04 (⌀4 mm) and the largest TEKA-BSP-12T (⌀12 mm). The family includes threaded, knurled, multi-step variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
