Manufacturing Scope
Knurled Knob is a Custom Turned Parts family precision-turned on a Goodway SW-20, covering 10 variants — diameters ⌀8–20 mm, lengths 10–27 mm, standard material Aluminium (also steel, stainless steel or brass). Every variant's part code, dimension and tolerance is listed below; request a quote with the code you need.
The family is machined from ⌀20 mm bar stock; its longest variant is OZEA-KNB-10 at 27 mm. Besides turning, the family requires taper turning, knurling and axial drilling (⌀2.5–8.5 mm). All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.
The variant with the highest length-to-diameter ratio is OZEA-KNB-10: 27 mm long at ⌀20 mm, L/D 1.4. A short, rigid body: what governs the result here is not deflection but diameter tolerance and surface finish.
Variants are machined to h9 tolerance; the smallest is OZEA-KNB-01 (⌀8 mm) and the largest OZEA-KNB-10 (⌀20 mm). The family includes tapered, knurled, bored, multi-step variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
