Hex Decorative Ferrule is a Custom Turned Parts family precision-turned on a Goodway SW-20, covering 11 variants — diameters ⌀8.1–19.6 mm, lengths 8–20 mm, standard material Stainless Steel (also steel, stainless, brass or aluminium). The family is machined from ⌀20 mm bar stock; its longest variant is OZEB-HEX-18 at 20 mm. Besides turning, the family requires hex flat milling (AF 7–17) and knurling. Bores in this family run ⌀4–12 mm. All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.
The variant with the highest length-to-diameter ratio is OZEB-HEX-08: 13 mm long at ⌀9.2 mm, L/D 1.4. A short, rigid body: what governs the result here is not deflection but diameter tolerance and surface finish.
Variants are machined to h11 tolerance; the smallest is OZEB-HEX-06 (⌀8.1 mm) and the largest OZEB-HEX-20 (⌀19.6 mm). The family includes hex-drive, knurled, bored, multi-step variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
