The family is machined from ⌀20 mm bar stock; its longest variant is RAKB-BNJ-11 at 33 mm. Besides turning, the family requires thread turning (7 sizes from M5 to M12x1.5), hex flat milling (AF 8–17) and axial drilling (⌀2.5–7 mm). All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.
The variant with the highest length-to-diameter ratio is RAKB-BNJ-12: 22 mm long at ⌀11.5 mm, L/D 1.9. A short, rigid body: what governs the result here is not deflection but diameter tolerance and surface finish.
