The family is machined from ⌀20 mm bar stock; its longest variant is RAKB-TRN-10 at 46 mm. Besides turning, the family requires thread turning (7 sizes from M5 to M12x1.5), hex flat milling (AF 8–17), taper turning, knurling and axial drilling (⌀2.5–6.5 mm). All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.
The variant with the highest length-to-diameter ratio is RAKB-TRN-12: 43 mm long at ⌀16.2 mm, L/D 2.7. A short, rigid body: what governs the result here is not deflection but diameter tolerance and surface finish.
Variants are machined to 6g tolerance; the smallest is RAKB-TRN-07 (⌀9.2 mm) and the largest RAKB-TRN-10 (⌀19.6 mm). The family includes threaded, hex-drive, tapered, knurled, bored, multi-step variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
