Reducing Nipple is a Fittings family precision-turned on a Goodway SW-20, covering 9 variants — diameters ⌀9.2–19.6 mm, lengths 19–34 mm, standard material Steel (also steel, stainless, brass or aluminium). The family is machined from ⌀20 mm bar stock; its longest variant is RAKB-RDN-06 at 34 mm. Besides turning, the family requires thread turning (5 sizes from M5 to M10x1), hex flat milling (AF 8–17) and axial drilling (⌀3–6 mm). All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.
The variant with the highest length-to-diameter ratio is RAKB-RDN-06: 34 mm long at ⌀16.2 mm, L/D 2.1. A short, rigid body: what governs the result here is not deflection but diameter tolerance and surface finish.
