Manufacturing Scope
Cap Nut (Dome) is a Nuts & Adapters family precision-turned on a Goodway SW-20, covering 8 variants — diameters ⌀6.4–19.6 mm, lengths 7–24 mm, standard material Stainless Steel (also steel, brass or aluminium). Every variant's part code, dimension and tolerance is listed below; request a quote with the code you need.
The family is machined from ⌀20 mm bar stock; its longest variant is SOMA-KOR-10 at 24 mm. Besides turning, the family requires hex flat milling (AF 5.5–17), taper turning and axial drilling (⌀2–10 mm). All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.
The variant with the highest length-to-diameter ratio is SOMA-KOR-03: 9 mm long at ⌀6.4 mm, L/D 1.4. A short, rigid body: what governs the result here is not deflection but diameter tolerance and surface finish.
Variants are machined to 6H tolerance; the smallest is SOMA-KOR-02 (⌀6.4 mm) and the largest SOMA-KOR-10 (⌀19.6 mm). The family includes hex-drive, tapered, bored, multi-step variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
