Manufacturing Scope
Reduction Nipple (Male-Male) is a Nuts & Adapters family precision-turned on a Goodway SW-20, covering 10 variants — diameters ⌀7–16 mm, lengths 17–35 mm, standard material Steel (also stainless steel, brass or aluminium). Every variant's part code, dimension and tolerance is listed below; request a quote with the code you need.
The family is machined from ⌀16 mm bar stock; its longest variant is SOMB-RNP-09 at 35 mm. Besides turning, the family requires thread turning (6 sizes from M3 to M10). All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.
The variant with the highest length-to-diameter ratio is SOMB-RNP-04: 25 mm long at ⌀9 mm, L/D 2.8. A short, rigid body: what governs the result here is not deflection but diameter tolerance and surface finish.
Variants are machined to 6g tolerance; the smallest is SOMB-RNP-01 (⌀7 mm) and the largest SOMB-RNP-10 (⌀16 mm). The family includes threaded, multi-step variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
