Orifice (Calibrated Bore) is a Valve Parts family precision-turned on a Goodway SW-20, covering 10 variants — diameters ⌀4–20 mm, lengths 3–8 mm, standard material Stainless Steel (also steel, brass or aluminium). Every variant's part code, dimension and tolerance is listed below; request a quote with the code you need.
The family is machined from ⌀20 mm bar stock; its longest variant is VALB-ORF-18 at 8 mm. Besides turning, the family requires axial drilling (⌀0.5–5 mm). All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.
The variant with the highest length-to-diameter ratio is VALB-ORF-03: 3 mm long at ⌀4 mm, L/D 0.8. A short, rigid body: what governs the result here is not deflection but diameter tolerance and surface finish.
Variants are machined to h6 tolerance; the smallest is VALB-ORF-03 (⌀4 mm) and the largest VALB-ORF-18 (⌀20 mm). The family includes bored variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
