Threaded Valve Stem is a Valve Parts family precision-turned on a Goodway SW-20, covering 10 variants — diameters ⌀8–20 mm, lengths 24–56 mm, standard material Brass (also steel, stainless, brass or aluminium). The family is machined from ⌀20 mm bar stock; its longest variant is VALA-STM-12L at 56 mm. Besides turning, the family requires thread turning (6 sizes from M4 to M12), hex flat milling (AF 10–17) and knurling. All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.

The variant with the highest length-to-diameter ratio is VALA-STM-06: 32 mm long at ⌀10 mm, L/D 3.2. This ratio is achievable on a conventional lathe as well; the sliding-head advantage in series work is that the part never leaves the machine, so the size does not drift from variant to variant.

Variants are machined to 6g tolerance; the smallest is VALA-STM-04 (⌀8 mm) and the largest VALA-STM-12L (⌀20 mm). The family includes threaded, hex-drive, knurled, multi-step variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
