Manufacturing Scope
Set Screw is a Fasteners family precision-turned on a Goodway SW-20, covering 11 variants — diameters ⌀3–10 mm, lengths 6–20 mm, standard material Steel (also steel, stainless, brass or aluminium). The family is machined from ⌀10 mm bar stock; its longest variant is BAGB-SET-10 at 20 mm. Besides turning, the family requires thread turning (6 sizes from M3 to M10) and axial drilling (⌀1.5–5 mm). All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.
The variant with the highest length-to-diameter ratio is BAGB-SET-02: 10 mm long at ⌀3 mm, L/D 3.3. This ratio is achievable on a conventional lathe as well; the sliding-head advantage in series work is that the part never leaves the machine, so the size does not drift from variant to variant.
Variants are machined to 6g tolerance; the smallest is BAGB-SET-01 (⌀3 mm) and the largest BAGB-SET-11 (⌀10 mm). The family includes threaded, bored variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
