Dowel Support Screw is a Fasteners family precision-turned on a Goodway SW-20, covering 10 variants — diameters ⌀4–10 mm, lengths 20–57 mm, standard material Stainless Steel (also steel, stainless, brass or aluminium). The family is machined from ⌀10 mm bar stock; its longest variant is BAGB-DOW-10 at 57 mm. Besides turning, the family requires thread turning (5 sizes from M3 to M8) and taper turning. All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.
The most slender variant is BAGB-DOW-02: 28 mm long at ⌀4 mm, a length-to-diameter ratio of 7.0. A part this slender needs tailstock support on a conventional lathe. On a sliding-head lathe the guide bushing holds the bar right next to the cutting edge, so the part is machined without a centre.
Variants are machined to h6 tolerance; the smallest is BAGB-DOW-01 (⌀4 mm) and the largest BAGB-DOW-10 (⌀10 mm). The family includes threaded, tapered, multi-step variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
