The family is machined from ⌀12 mm bar stock; its longest variant is BAGA-913-10 at 30 mm. Besides turning, the family requires thread turning (7 sizes from M3 to M12) and axial drilling (⌀1.5–6 mm). All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.

The variant with the highest length-to-diameter ratio is BAGA-913-08: 25 mm long at ⌀6 mm, L/D 4.2. This ratio is achievable on a conventional lathe as well; the sliding-head advantage in series work is that the part never leaves the machine, so the size does not drift from variant to variant.

Variants are machined to 6g tolerance; the smallest is BAGA-913-01 (⌀3 mm) and the largest BAGA-913-12 (⌀12 mm). The family includes threaded, bored variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
