Manufacturing Scope
Threaded-End Shaft is a Shafts family precision-turned on a Goodway SW-20, covering 10 variants — diameters ⌀5–14 mm, lengths 28–82 mm, standard material Steel (also steel, stainless, brass or aluminium). The family is machined from ⌀14 mm bar stock; its longest variant is MILB-THS-09 at 82 mm. Besides turning, the family requires thread turning (6 sizes from M4 to M12). All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.
The most slender variant is MILB-THS-04: 55 mm long at ⌀8 mm, a length-to-diameter ratio of 6.9. A part this slender needs tailstock support on a conventional lathe. On a sliding-head lathe the guide bushing holds the bar right next to the cutting edge, so the part is machined without a centre.
Variants are machined to 6g tolerance; the smallest is MILB-THS-01 (⌀5 mm) and the largest MILB-THS-10 (⌀14 mm). The family includes threaded, multi-step variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
