Manufacturing Scope
Knurled Threaded Shaft TD is a Shafts family precision-turned on a Goodway SW-20, covering 10 variants — diameters ⌀8–20 mm, lengths 34–82 mm, standard material Brass (also steel, stainless steel or aluminium). Every variant's part code, dimension and tolerance is listed below; request a quote with the code you need.
The family is machined from ⌀20 mm bar stock; its longest variant is MILA-TD-16 at 82 mm. Besides turning, the family requires thread turning (6 sizes from M4 to M12) and knurling. All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.
The variant with the highest length-to-diameter ratio is MILA-TD-04: 34 mm long at ⌀8 mm, L/D 4.3. This ratio is achievable on a conventional lathe as well; the sliding-head advantage in series work is that the part never leaves the machine, so the size does not drift from variant to variant.
Variants are machined to 6g tolerance; the smallest is MILA-TD-04 (⌀8 mm) and the largest MILA-TD-16 (⌀20 mm). The family includes threaded, knurled, multi-step variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
