Tube Adapter is a Opto-Mechanical Parts family precision-turned on a Goodway SW-20, covering 10 variants — diameters ⌀10–20 mm, lengths 10–37 mm, standard material Aluminium (also steel, stainless, brass or aluminium). The family is machined from ⌀20 mm bar stock; its longest variant is OPTA-TAD-16D at 37 mm. Besides turning, the family requires thread turning (7 sizes from M6 to M18), taper turning and knurling. Bores in this family run ⌀4–14 mm. All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.
The variant with the highest length-to-diameter ratio is OPTA-TAD-16D: 37 mm long at ⌀19 mm, L/D 1.9. A short, rigid body: what governs the result here is not deflection but diameter tolerance and surface finish.
Variants are machined to 6g tolerance; the smallest is OPTA-TAD-06 (⌀10 mm) and the largest OPTA-TAD-18 (⌀20 mm). The family includes threaded, tapered, knurled, bored, multi-step variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
