The family is machined from ⌀20 mm bar stock; its longest variant is OPTA-LCB-16T at 26 mm. Besides turning, the family requires thread turning (6 sizes from M8 to M18), taper turning and knurling. Bores in this family run ⌀6–15 mm. All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.
The variant with the highest length-to-diameter ratio is OPTA-LCB-10L: 23 mm long at ⌀14 mm, L/D 1.6. A short, rigid body: what governs the result here is not deflection but diameter tolerance and surface finish.
Variants are machined to 6g tolerance; the smallest is OPTA-LCB-08 (⌀12 mm) and the largest OPTA-LCB-18 (⌀20 mm). The family includes threaded, tapered, knurled, bored, multi-step variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
