Gland Nut is a Hydraulic & Pneumatic Pistons family precision-turned on a Goodway SW-20, covering 8 variants — diameters ⌀11.5–19.6 mm, lengths 14–25 mm, standard material Steel (also stainless steel, brass or aluminium). Every variant's part code, dimension and tolerance is listed below; request a quote with the code you need.
The family is machined from ⌀20 mm bar stock; its longest variant is HIDB-GLN-13 at 25 mm. Besides turning, the family requires thread turning (M8, M10, M12) and hex flat milling (AF 10–17). Bores in this family run ⌀6–13 mm. All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.
The variant with the highest length-to-diameter ratio is HIDB-GLN-13: 25 mm long at ⌀19.6 mm, L/D 1.3. A short, rigid body: what governs the result here is not deflection but diameter tolerance and surface finish.
Variants are machined to 6H tolerance; the smallest is HIDB-GLN-06 (⌀11.5 mm) and the largest HIDB-GLN-13 (⌀19.6 mm). The family includes threaded, hex-drive, bored, multi-step variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
