Piston Rod End is a Hydraulic & Pneumatic Pistons family precision-turned on a Goodway SW-20, covering 10 variants — diameters ⌀8–20 mm, lengths 26–64 mm, standard material Steel (also steel, stainless, brass or aluminium). The family is machined from ⌀20 mm bar stock; its longest variant is HIDA-PRE-20 at 64 mm. Besides turning, the family requires thread turning (M6, M8, M10, M12), knurling and axial drilling (⌀6 mm). All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.

The variant with the highest length-to-diameter ratio is HIDA-PRE-12L: 52 mm long at ⌀14 mm, L/D 3.7. This ratio is achievable on a conventional lathe as well; the sliding-head advantage in series work is that the part never leaves the machine, so the size does not drift from variant to variant.

Variants are machined to 6g tolerance; the smallest is HIDA-PRE-06 (⌀8 mm) and the largest HIDA-PRE-20B (⌀20 mm). The family includes threaded, knurled, bored, multi-step variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
