Manufacturing Scope
Throttle Screw is a Hydraulic & Pneumatic Pistons family precision-turned on a Goodway SW-20, covering 9 variants — diameters ⌀8–20 mm, lengths 17–36 mm, standard material Stainless Steel (also steel, brass or aluminium). Every variant's part code, dimension and tolerance is listed below; request a quote with the code you need.
The family is machined from ⌀20 mm bar stock; its longest variant is HIDB-THS-10B at 36 mm. Besides turning, the family requires thread turning (6 sizes from M4 to M12) and knurling. All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.
The variant with the highest length-to-diameter ratio is HIDB-THS-06B: 26 mm long at ⌀12 mm, L/D 2.2. A short, rigid body: what governs the result here is not deflection but diameter tolerance and surface finish.
Variants are machined to 6g tolerance; the smallest is HIDB-THS-04 (⌀8 mm) and the largest HIDB-THS-12 (⌀20 mm). The family includes threaded, knurled, multi-step variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
