Orifice Restrictor is a Hydraulic & Pneumatic Pistons family precision-turned on a Goodway SW-20, covering 9 variants — diameters ⌀9.2–19.6 mm, lengths 12–22 mm, standard material Stainless Steel (also steel, stainless, brass or aluminium). The family is machined from ⌀20 mm bar stock; its longest variant is HIDB-ORF-12 at 22 mm. Besides turning, the family requires thread turning (5 sizes from M5 to M12), hex flat milling (AF 8–17) and axial drilling (⌀0.5–3 mm). All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.
The variant with the highest length-to-diameter ratio is HIDB-ORF-05: 12 mm long at ⌀9.2 mm, L/D 1.3. A short, rigid body: what governs the result here is not deflection but diameter tolerance and surface finish.
Variants are machined to 6g tolerance; the smallest is HIDB-ORF-05 (⌀9.2 mm) and the largest HIDB-ORF-12B (⌀19.6 mm). The family includes threaded, hex-drive, bored, multi-step variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
