Pen Tip (Sharp Probe) is a Connector Pins family precision-turned on a Goodway SW-20, covering 10 variants — diameters ⌀2–6.4 mm, lengths 18–39 mm, standard material Stainless Steel (also steel, stainless, brass or aluminium). The family is machined from ⌀8 mm bar stock; its longest variant is KONB-KLM-10 at 39 mm. Besides turning, the family requires thread turning (M2, M3), hex flat milling (AF 5.5), taper turning and knurling. All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.
The most slender variant is KONB-KLM-01: 18 mm long at ⌀2 mm, a length-to-diameter ratio of 9.0. A part this slender needs tailstock support on a conventional lathe. On a sliding-head lathe the guide bushing holds the bar right next to the cutting edge, so the part is machined without a centre.
Variants are machined to h7, 6g tolerance classes; the smallest is KONB-KLM-01 (⌀2 mm) and the largest KONB-KLM-09 (⌀6.4 mm). The family includes threaded, hex-drive, tapered, knurled, multi-step variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
