Manufacturing Scope
Contact Pin is a Connector Pins family precision-turned on a Goodway SW-20, covering 10 variants — diameters ⌀1–9 mm, lengths 13–50 mm, standard material Brass (also steel, stainless steel or aluminium). Every variant's part code, dimension and tolerance is listed below; request a quote with the code you need.
The family is machined from ⌀10 mm bar stock; its longest variant is KONA-CPN-60 at 50 mm. The family is produced by turning alone. All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.
The most slender variant is KONA-CPN-08: 13 mm long at ⌀1 mm, a length-to-diameter ratio of 13.0. This ratio is the very reason sliding-head lathes exist. The guide bushing supports the bar immediately beside the cutting point, so there is no deflection; the same part chatters and drifts in diameter on a conventional lathe.
Variants are machined to h8 tolerance; the smallest is KONA-CPN-08 (⌀1 mm) and the largest KONA-CPN-60 (⌀9 mm). The family includes multi-step variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
