Manufacturing Scope
Calibration Pin (Gauge) is a Connector Pins family precision-turned on a Goodway SW-20, covering 11 variants — diameters ⌀3–12 mm, lengths 40–74 mm, standard material Steel (also steel, stainless, brass or aluminium). Every variant's part code, dimension and tolerance is listed below; request an instant quote with the code you need.
The family is machined from ⌀12 mm bar stock; its longest variant is KONB-KAL-11 at 74 mm. Besides turning, the family requires hex flat milling (AF 10) and knurling. All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.
The most slender variant is KONB-KAL-01: 40 mm long at ⌀3 mm, a length-to-diameter ratio of 13.3. This ratio is the very reason sliding-head lathes exist. The guide bushing supports the bar immediately beside the cutting point, so there is no deflection; the same part chatters and drifts in diameter on a conventional lathe.
Variants are machined to g6 tolerance; the smallest is KONB-KAL-01 (⌀3 mm) and the largest KONB-KAL-11 (⌀12 mm). The family includes hex-drive, knurled, multi-step variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
