Manufacturing Scope
Socket Contact is a Connector Pins family precision-turned on a Goodway SW-20, covering 10 variants — diameters ⌀2.5–12 mm, lengths 16–54 mm, standard material Brass (also steel, stainless, brass or aluminium). Every variant's part code, dimension and tolerance is listed below; request an instant quote with the code you need.
The family is machined from ⌀12 mm bar stock; its longest variant is KONA-SKT-60 at 54 mm. Besides turning, the family requires axial drilling (⌀1–6 mm). All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.
The most slender variant is KONA-SKT-12: 16 mm long at ⌀2.5 mm, a length-to-diameter ratio of 6.4. A part this slender needs tailstock support on a conventional lathe. On a sliding-head lathe the guide bushing holds the bar right next to the cutting edge, so the part is machined without a centre.
Variants are machined to H8 tolerance; the smallest is KONA-SKT-12 (⌀2.5 mm) and the largest KONA-SKT-60 (⌀12 mm). The family includes bored, multi-step variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
