Banana Plug Tip (4 mm) is a Connector Pins family precision-turned on a Goodway SW-20, covering 11 variants — diameters ⌀2–12 mm, lengths 12–35 mm, standard material Brass (also steel, stainless, brass or aluminium). The family is machined from ⌀12 mm bar stock; its longest variant is KONB-BAN-11 at 35 mm. Besides turning, the family requires thread turning (M3, M4, M6), hex flat milling (AF 7–8), knurling and axial drilling (⌀2.5–3.3 mm). All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.
The most slender variant is KONB-BAN-02: 14 mm long at ⌀2 mm, a length-to-diameter ratio of 7.0. A part this slender needs tailstock support on a conventional lathe. On a sliding-head lathe the guide bushing holds the bar right next to the cutting edge, so the part is machined without a centre.
Variants are machined to h9, 6g tolerance classes; the smallest is KONB-BAN-02 (⌀2 mm) and the largest KONB-BAN-11 (⌀12 mm). The family includes threaded, hex-drive, knurled, bored, multi-step variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
