Manufacturing Scope
Hex-Body Contact is a Connector Pins family precision-turned on a Goodway SW-20, covering 9 variants — diameters ⌀6.4–19.6 mm, lengths 13–38 mm, standard material Brass (also steel, stainless steel or aluminium). Every variant's part code, dimension and tolerance is listed below; request a quote with the code you need.
The family is machined from ⌀20 mm bar stock; its longest variant is KONA-HEX-50B at 38 mm. Besides turning, the family requires thread turning (6 sizes from M3 to M10) and hex flat milling (AF 5.5–17). All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.
The variant with the highest length-to-diameter ratio is KONA-HEX-25B: 24 mm long at ⌀8.1 mm, L/D 3.0. A short, rigid body: what governs the result here is not deflection but diameter tolerance and surface finish.
Variants are machined to 6g tolerance; the smallest is KONA-HEX-20 (⌀6.4 mm) and the largest KONA-HEX-60 (⌀19.6 mm). The family includes threaded, hex-drive, multi-step variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
