Set Screw is a Fixing & Locating family precision-turned on a Goodway SW-20, covering 12 variants — diameters ⌀2–8 mm, lengths 4–20 mm, standard material Steel (also steel, stainless, brass or aluminium). The family is machined from ⌀8 mm bar stock; its longest variant is TESB-SET-M8C at 20 mm. Besides turning, the family requires thread turning (6 sizes from M2 to M8) and axial drilling (⌀0.9–4 mm). All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.
The variant with the highest length-to-diameter ratio is TESB-SET-M3C: 8 mm long at ⌀3 mm, L/D 2.7. A short, rigid body: what governs the result here is not deflection but diameter tolerance and surface finish.
