Internally Tapped Extraction Dowel is a Fixing & Locating family precision-turned on a Goodway SW-20, covering 10 variants — diameters ⌀4–20 mm, lengths 20–80 mm, standard material Steel (also steel, stainless, brass or aluminium). The family is machined from ⌀20 mm bar stock; its longest variant is TESA-DPT-20 at 80 mm. Besides turning, the family requires axial drilling (⌀2.1–8.5 mm). All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.

The variant with the highest length-to-diameter ratio is TESA-DPT-04: 20 mm long at ⌀4 mm, L/D 5.0. This ratio is achievable on a conventional lathe as well; the sliding-head advantage in series work is that the part never leaves the machine, so the size does not drift from variant to variant.

Variants are machined to m6 tolerance; the smallest is TESA-DPT-04 (⌀4 mm) and the largest TESA-DPT-20 (⌀20 mm). The family includes bored variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
