Adjustable Stop Stud is a Fixing & Locating family precision-turned on a Goodway SW-20, covering 12 variants — diameters ⌀8.1–19.6 mm, lengths 25–52 mm, standard material Steel (also steel, stainless, brass or aluminium). The family is machined from ⌀20 mm bar stock; its longest variant is TESB-DSC-M12 at 52 mm. Besides turning, the family requires thread turning (6 sizes from M4 to M12), hex flat milling (AF 7–17) and knurling. All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.
The variant with the highest length-to-diameter ratio is TESB-DSC-M5: 30 mm long at ⌀9.2 mm, L/D 3.2. This ratio is achievable on a conventional lathe as well; the sliding-head advantage in series work is that the part never leaves the machine, so the size does not drift from variant to variant.
Variants are machined to 6g tolerance; the smallest is TESB-DSC-M4 (⌀8.1 mm) and the largest TESB-DSC-M12D (⌀19.6 mm). The family includes threaded, hex-drive, knurled, multi-step variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
